Welcome! Video - Introduction to DMin Library Research Guide (3.08 mins.)
Welcome to the Introductory Guide for Library Resources through Portland Seminary at George Fox University.
Research can be somewhat like walking around in an unmarked forest. It is iterative. Sometimes you have to circle back a ways and start fresh. Sometimes the paths are clear cut. Sometimes you have to do some scrambling through the brush. This guide is designed to help you find and navigate all the tools you have to help you on your journey.
As you head into this new chapter in your story, remember you are not alone! As the liaison librarian to the Seminary, I am here to guide you on your research journey and assist you with questions you may have along the way. You'll find my contact information to the right, and more information on research help (including how to get help on the weekends) on the Research Help page of this guide.
