American Literature: Finding Books & Journals

Note on GFU Collections

Our collections go beyond the main stacks upstairs at the Murdock Library. When searching Primo, remember that:

  1. We have access to a large amount of e-books
  2. You can request print books from other colleges and universities from around the Pacific Northwest via Summit
    • Unfortunately, e-books owned by other institutions are not accessible
    • Requests typically arrive within 5 business days
  3. Summit is different than Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
    • Books from Summit arrive to campus much faster due to courier service
    • ILL requests go through the mail and come from academic or public libraries from further afield
