The New International Commentary

Trusted for their high-quality, attention to detail, and inclusion of evolving scholarship. Although more academic than other options in this list, these series offer a nice balance between technicality and approachability.

Anchor Yale Bible Commentaries

The most scholarly option in this list, the Anchor Yale Bible Commentaries span over 89 volumes and is one of the most trusted and long-running scholarly commentaries series for Biblical Studies scholars.
