How to add a VoiceThread assignment in which students will add comments to the VoiceThread the instructor owns
Begin with the guide, Adding a VoiceThread Assignment, to add the assignment in the Canvas module
- Click Assignment Builder
- Select Comment
- Follow the steps in the VoiceThread guide, Setting Up a Commenting Assignment
- In the step, Finalize, ignore the Start, End, and Due dates. The Canvas assignment Assign to settings will be used to apply these dates
- Click Publish
- Return to the Canvas assignment page
- In the Assign to section add the Due Date.
- Click on Save—if you want to save your work but you do not want to give students access to the assignment
or Save & Publish—if you are ready to give students access to the assignment
