Student Introduction to FoxTALE: Submitting an Assignment

Submitting Assignments

How to Submit an Assignment in Your Course Site

You will find three types of assignments in the course site:

  • Drop box, meaning that you submit a file to the assignment
  • Online text, meaning that you compose in the assignment text editor and submit your work
  • Grading, meaning that you are not prompted to submit in the assignment. You will see feedback from your instructor and the grade awarded.

To submit, click on the name of the assignment and scroll down to click on the Submit button.

If the assignment is a drop box

  • You will see a field onto which you can drag a file or you can browse to the files on your computer to select a file
  • Click on the button Upload this file.
  • Click on the button Save changes.
  • You will see a report that the assignment is submitted.

If the assignment is an online text

  • You will type in the text editor
  • Click on the button Save changes.
  • You will see a report that the assignment is submitted.

If the assignment is a grading activity

  • You will not be making a submission. The assignment is used by the instructor to submit feedback and a grade for an assignment that does not require submission.

For all assignment types you can re-enter the assignment to see your instructor's feedback and the grade awarded.
