The mission of the BJS is to collect, analyze, publish, and disseminate information on crime, criminal offenders, victims of crime, and the operation of justice systems at all levels of government.

The PSID is a longitudinal survey of a representative sample of U.S. individuals and the families in which they reside. It has been ongoing since 1968, and is conducted by faculty at the University of Michigan.

This site provides access to public opinion surveys and dataset analyses regarding attitudes and trends covering various global topics, especially those issues impacting the United States.

This project focuses on American behaviors and attitudes toward family, community, health, finance, work, and leisure. Reports are created based on original public opinion survey research, and combined with data analysis of social, economic, and demographic factors. Survey questions can be identified by searching the poll databases for Pew Social and Demographic Trends or all Research Center projects.
