How to Produce Your Video Recording
When sharing a brief video recording—like an initial posting in a group discussion—try one of these options:
Method 1: Make a YouTube video
If you have never used your George Fox YouTube account: Activate Your YouTube Channel
When using your mobile device
- Record the video on your mobile device
- Open the YouTube app
- Sign in to your George Fox YouTube account
- Select the video from your camera roll
- Upload the video to your George Fox YouTube account
- Copy the YouTube link and share it in your discussion posting
When using your computer
- Make a video recording using Photo Booth (Mac) or Camera (PC). See Recording Your Screen for more recording options.
- Open the Chrome browser
- Go to https://youtube.com
- Sign in to your George Fox YouTube account
- Upload your video to YouTube. If you are working in a media application (e.g., Camtasia, Screencastify, Explain Everything), check your Share settings to see if the application allows you to Sign In to YouTube and upload media files directly from the application)
- Copy the YouTube link and share it in your discussion posting
This method automatically includes captions
