How to Share an iPad Screen
Zoom Support recommends that you set up your iPad for screen sharing before you host or join a meeting. See the Zoom tutorial at iOS Screen Sharing.
Once your iPad is ready, choose one of these methods to share your iPad screen, and work in apps on your iPad, in a Zoom meeting:
Method 1: Share your iPad Screen in the Zoom Desktop Client
- Host or join a Zoom meeting on your laptop
- Click on Share Screen
- Select iPhone/iPad via AirPlay
- Click on Share
- On the iPad confirm that you are using the same WIFI to which your laptop is connected
- On the iPad swipe to access the Control Center
- Tap Screen Mirroring
- Select Zoom - (name of your laptop)
- Your iPad will display in full screen in the Zoom meeting
Method 2: Join a Zoom Meeting on your iPad and Share Content
- Join a Zoom meeting on your iPad
- Tap Share Content
- Tap Screen in the Share Content menu
- Swipe to access the Control Center
- Tap and hold on the Record button - in some cases this step is not required
- Tap on Start Broadcast
- After a 3-second countdown your iPad will display in full screen in the Zoom meeting
